CANCUN NIGHTLIFE

When dusk comes, Cancun takes on neon shades and tunes in to an assortment of rhythms to suit everyone’s liking, such as: jazz, salsa, techno, reggae, hip hop, R&B, rap, recognized DJs, live performances and much more.

A walk through Kukulkan boulevard, the heart of Cancun nightlife, will have you tap your foot to the sounds of several entertainment venues, that play their music out loud and stand close to one another. The only challenge here becomes choosing one from the others, but there is nothing to worry about, all places have charms on their own. If you are a serious party-goer, you will probably end up hopping from club to club.

Hotspots like Carlos O’ Brian’s, Carlos’N Charlie’s and Sr. Frog’s attract tourists with their friendly atmospheres and fantastic food and drinks. They all seem to share the same motto. “You will have fun here even if you didn’t come prepared to.”

Coco Bongo and the City are clubs where entertainment and the most modern music mixes combine to give you the time of your life.

If you are a rocker at heart, there is a Hard Rock Cafe at Plaza Forum that features live rock music lets you admire the setting and feel the breeze of the sea. Planet Hollywood, in La Isla right on the Hotel Zone, although quieter, can be an interesting option for one night of your Cancun vacations.

More relaxing environments can be found in most hotels and lounges where a margarita or the drink of your preference can keep you company.

Downtown Cancun, there are also alternatives to enjoy the evening, on Yaxchilan Avenue, you will find an array of Mexican informal restaurants, where live music is played as well.

If you are looking for different ways to spend your evening, the Pirate Cruise (Capitan Hook cruise) is a must, with its buffet and rounds of free drinks, as much as its shows on board.

In short, nightlife is what Cancun is all about!
